Reading an Event Outline
Before entering a event, read its published outline: venue and date, entry deadline, eligibility and categories, fees, weigh-in and contest schedule, format, and rule set. A weigh-in time and the first contest time are different appointments. Check who handles entries and where corrections or updates are published. If two documents conflict, seek clarification from the organizer before relying on either one.
